Bearcat's Cabin at Bearcat Stables

A horse-drawn sleigh, a crackling fire, a glass of wine, dinner is almost ready, and memories that last a life time are in the making. Bearcat’s Cabin is one of the Vail Valley’s most unique and historic places to enjoy a dinner experience with your loved ones.

Located just 15 minutes from Beaver Creek and 30 minutes from Vail our sleigh ride and dinner is not just another dinner out but an experience. Our friendly team behind the bar will get you set with a warm beverage or libation of your choice before you head out back to the horse-drawn sleighs. We welcome you to enjoy the crisp mountain air, toast your hands at the fire pit, and get a photo op with the team while we get take care of the rest. Once on board, cozy up with your loved ones under the blankets, sit back and have fun!

“Frank, Jessie, Step Up” you hear the wrangler say, and with ease you’re off for the ride! A 30 minute journey thru the snow covered meadows of Cordillera will give you a glimpse of history at Bearcat’s Cabin- one of the Vail Valley’s original homesteads. Frank and Jessie, will show you their strength and beauty as they pull the sleigh up hills and control and break the sleigh on the short down hills. Our amazing team of horses are sure to impress, weighing in at nearly 2000lbs each. At the conclusion of the sleigh ride, a chef prepared three course dinner from the Mirador Restaurant at the Lodge and Spa at Cordillera awaits inside the cabin. Our small and intimate setting allows for few distractions so you can cherish the evening with your most cherished. At Bearcat’s Cabin we are all about everyone having the best sleigh ride dinner dining experience, creating memories, and maybe even new family traditions.
